It all started in church as a little boy, looking up at the beautiful tongue and groove ceiling, wondering how it all went together. In high school Sid took four years of drafting and design while working full time.
“I realized I didn’t want to draw but to build so I made the transition from Architecture to Construction Management and ultimately put it all together as a General Contractor who does a lot of Design-Build projects. Never stop learning”.
Utilizing his background in Construction Management and Architecture. Sid Howell started his first construction company in 1994. Under his leadership American Commercial Builders has since grown into a full service design/build construction company with a portfolio of commercial, medical interiors, land development, as well as consulting, industrial and church projects.

A graduate of Southern College of Technology with a BS in Architectural Engineering Technology, Sid is Married with four children.
